About Me

My photo
Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my blog! Let me tell you a bit about myself. First I'm a wife then a mother of two (a 5 & 1yr old). I love to share my experiences, thoughts, ideas, questions really just about everything, lol! I want to be a positive motivation by sharing what I go through. You never know what I'll post, believe me, sometimes I blow my own mind. Having children = never a dull moment. Through it all I try to take one day at time remembering to keep breathing through it all :)

So I like crafts and pretty much anything DIY but I don't try any because I'm scared. Scared of failing. But this time I had to try! My boys needed a dresser and I wanted something they would really like, but we don't have money for custom furniture so I went to Pinterest!

I absolutely love PINTEREST! No really, I love, love, love Pinterest! It's my go to for everything, and, I do mean everything. Cleaning, decorating, party ideas, gift ideas, hair color, etc, etc. You get the point, whatever it is Pinterest is my go to!!!

So with that said I was able to get a dresser for dirt cheap, it's not wood but I was ok with that. It needed to be painted and cleaned but still talk about being nervous. I've never tried anything like this but I was up for the challenge. Being artistic is not me but I know what my kids like and it was mommy's job to get it done!

So what do they like?

SUPERHEROS!!!

I looked up Superhero bedroom ideas and saw so many cute things on there but all those cute things add up! I saw a few Superhero dressers that were ok but nothing really caught my eye but I didn't give up. Finally something hit me, now for the execution process. Here is the dresser I purchased.

Now there are a few flaws, but I'll say I did awesome! I tried and succeeded!!! My little one hasn't said anything about it, he's two so I guess I can't expect much out of him right? My oldest though, loves it, he even fell out lol! I spent about $50 making my babies a custom superhero dresser. Not to bad, right?
