About Me

My photo
Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my blog! Let me tell you a bit about myself. First I'm a wife then a mother of two (a 5 & 1yr old). I love to share my experiences, thoughts, ideas, questions really just about everything, lol! I want to be a positive motivation by sharing what I go through. You never know what I'll post, believe me, sometimes I blow my own mind. Having children = never a dull moment. Through it all I try to take one day at time remembering to keep breathing through it all :)

31 Day Challenge

I'm always up for a challenge and why not start one now,  it's the beginning of the month? It seems to be perfect timing. I'm better at accomplishing something if I'm put to a test, so here it goes, this is for me but why not try it too? This month I want to focus on my home. Decluttering/ Organizing like I've never had before. Is it just me but do you not want to keep a receipt for even the smallest items you buy? On the other hand my husband throws everything away, from the biggest to the smallest. What will your challenge be? Is there something you have put off for a while? Why wait any longer, start it now! Today I focused on our bedroom closet. Checking everything hung up making sure it wasn't falling off the hanging & ensuring it was on a proper hanger, taking the "empty" hangers out & grouping items by season. Let me know what your challenge will be and how you plan on achieving your goal.

Parenting smells :)

I like to post Mommy moments or Mommy thoughts on Facebook (FB) but I think I'm going to start posting them here instead. For today it will be about smells, I know what your thinking "What?!" Well to begin my son has had an ear ach since last week and we were doing ear drops and if that didn't help I was instructed to begin an antibiotic. We started drops on Tuesday and on Thursday antibiotics began, he was still tugging on his ear and being cranky. Going on 5 days with the antibiotic it seems as he is having diarrhea which began yesterday. My little man also has acid reflux which he is also on medication for, so with all that being said, we come to smells. Today I've been thrown up on and pooped on! Which really is more like a typical day for me anyway since he's only 3 1/2 months. Any parent will know all about what I'm talking about today. Even though you may change your clothes a least twice a day it's still worth it when they look at you and smile, want you to hold them all day or laugh when you play with them. Parent hood is an everyday adventure that is unpredictable but I wouldn't change it for anything. What about you, would you rather stay at home and smell like throw up or go to work?

Trying to be a multitasker!!!!

I've been on WordPress for over a month and I've only written once, what's up with that!?!?!? Being a mom, wife & a homemaker it's not always easy to find time for yourself let only write. But, writing more is my goal. I don't write about anything specifically just random things. It may be about my day, my kids, an idea that pops in my head, a thought, my opinion, like I said anything random! Happy writing & reading :)

Anniversary

Yesterday we completed our 11 yr anniversary, that's an accomplishment for anybody that is married. As everyone knows marriage is work & if someone tells you differently I would say they are not being truthful, or maybe they are.  You may have a spouse that is submissive and does anything their spouse ask/ tells them, they are still in the honeymoon stage (they haven't been married long enough) or reality doesn't apply to them. When I say reality I mean life. Life includes jobs, children, household, finances, in-laws, family members or just plain drama! No, we don't go into marriage thinking "Oh we are going to have problems" but you have two people coming together as one. You you were not raised together so views, morales, etc  will be different. If you are of the same ethnicity there will be differences and there is no way around it. The manner you handle these differences is what will make or break your marriage.
